Backgammon is a game of moving chess on a board or table. The number of moves is determined by throwing two dice. The goal of the game is to make one's chess pieces reach the end first. This chess game combines luck and technique, and both are usually indispensable for winning. This kind of chess game became popular in the world since the late 20th century.

The predecessor of Backgammon has been among the oldest games of all kinds as early as 3000 BC. The ancient Romans played a game called Ludus Duodecim Scriptorum, which is similar to or the same as modern backgammon set, and it is still very popular in the eastern Mediterranean countries.

Rules of Backgammon

Traditional backgammon francais can be played by two people. The chessboard is divided into 4 parts, or 4 regions. Each part is marked with 6 wedge-shaped narrow areas or small strongholds alternately in black and white colors. A vertical line called the boundary divides the chessboard into inner and outer areas. In the game, one side uses 15 white pieces and the other side uses 15 black pieces. According to the number of points displayed on the dice they cast, the two sides move their pieces from one stronghold to another in the opposite direction from their respective inner areas. The points displayed by the two dice can be used to move two pieces respectively, or they can be added together to move one piece. When the dice shows two identical numbers, double the calculation. For example, two 6-points should be calculated as 4 6-points. This is the classic backgammon gameplay.

Backgammon relies on rolling dice. So if the opponent rolls the dice, they may lose the dice no matter what they do. However, because so many dice are thrown in professional backgammon game, luck usually tends to be flat, and whoever plays a better strategy is likely to win. If you want to know how to win in backgammon, it is important to learn the ins and outs of these strategies. In addition to traditional backgammon, personalised backgammon board and travel backgammon game are becoming more and more popular nowadays.

These are the five basic backgammon strategies.

Running game

Running game is the simplest backgammon strategy. It makes checkers move towards your motherboard as fast as possible. If both players are running the game, whoever rolls better will win the game. For this reason, you should only commit to running the game if you have a strong start.

Blitz

Blitz is an all-out attack on the fragile checkers of the opponent. The assault strategy is not to simply run home or try to establish a point on the board, but to land on the opponent's pieces when possible and send them to the bar. The advantage of this is not only to allow your opponent to reset some points, but if your opponent does not roll the correct number to return to the board, you can also set some checkers on the bar.

Attacking close to home base does not cost the opponent a lot of points.

Priming

Starting is a backgammon strategy, which involves a series of fixed points to "start" or connect on the chessboard.

By creating four points in a row, you can form a wall. This wall not only delays your opponents, but also provides your other senior inspectors with easy targets to find safe points. This is suitable for use in conjunction with blitzkrieg.

Holding Game

Keep the game away from your home plate. It relies on maintaining an anchor point in the opponent's home plate. Leaving an anchor on the opponent's home plate will bring some defensive and offensive benefits.

Back Game

Back game backgammon will take the licensed game one step further and rely on maintaining multiple points on the opponent's home plate. The defender game is not a deliberate backgammon strategy, but a way to save a beaten game. In addition to increasing the offensive threat of the game of possession, the back game also takes up valuable home plate land, causing inconvenience to your opponents.
